SHTTL Showing at The Lobby At The Ritz

Klezmer on Hudson presents a special screening of SHTTL, an award-winning 2022 film set in a Jewish village in the final hours before its world is about to disappear. Filmed in Yiddish with English subtitles, the film follows a man returning from Kyiv to marry the woman he loves, only to discover that she is expected to marry someone else.

Join us Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM at The Lobby at the Ritz in Newburgh. A live Klezmer band will perform before the screening, followed by a post-screening Q&A with star Moshe Lobel, known for The Vigil and Unorthodox.
